Margaret Mary Bosse "Marge", age 97, of Manhattan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Heritage Manor in Dwight, IL. She is survived by her children William (Joni) Bosse, Mary Louise (Russ) Schuch and John (Diane) Bosse, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Frances Kestel, her husband Louis Bosse, her brothers Clarence Kestel Jr., Gerald Kestel, and Robert Kestel, her sister Anna Mae Helt and her faithful canine companion "Bruiser". Marge was a graduate of St. Francis Academy class of 1941. Along with caring for her children, Marge worked at A & P Grocery as their bookkeeper. She went on to work at Christ Hospital where she played an instrumental role in comforting children. She also drove a school bus for Will County for several years. Marge was a lifelong active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Manhattan. Marge was a humble woman who had a great sense of humor, and she lit up a room with her smile. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Visitation for Marge will be on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place Saturday, September 10, 2022, beginning with prayers at the funeral home at 10:30 A.M. followed by procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 W. North St., Manhattan, for 11:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial. Marge will be reunited with her husband Louis at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
