On April 15, 2025, María Salgado, age 66 of Manhattan, passed away peacefully in her home after a long battle with cancer.

María is survived by her husband Esteban Salgado, daughters Ana, Karen (Carl) and Ivonne (Juan), and her four grandchildren Olivia, Sebastian, Mateo and Cassandra.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gonzalo and María Mata and siblings Gonzalo and Veronica Mata.

María was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be remembered for her charismatic personality.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. María will be missed but will be forever in our hearts.
