Mark Alan Johnson, age 49, of Manhattan passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, February 23, 2018. He is survived by his father Gerald Johnson of New Lenox; loving wife of 13 years Pamela (nee Gray); Daughter Hannah (Gage) Matheny of Sheboygan, WI; Sister Lori Johnson of New Lenox; Brother Timothy (Bernadine) Johnson of Port Huron MI; Sister-in-law Starla Gray of Peotone; Mother-in-law Clara Gray of Peotone; as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his Mother Nancy (nee Ely) Johnson and his Father-in-law Delbert Gray. Mark was born in Joliet IL and graduated from Lincoln-Way Class of 1987. He worked at various jobs until becoming a Boiler Maker with Local 1, which included traveling to many nuclear power plants for maintenance work. He was an avid fan of the White Sox, Blackhawks and Bears; and also, a Star Wars enthusiast. Mostly he loved his family and spending his time with them. Funeral service for Mark will be 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Curtis Gallion officiating.
