Mary Catherine Barath, nee King, of Oswego, passed from this life peacefully in her home on Wednesday, May 13, 2015. She is survived by her siblings; Geraldine (Richard – deceased) Baumgart, Pat King, Joe (Mary) King, Edie (Chris) Cowell and Ann King, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, two favorite aunts, Hazel (Carl-deceased) Wickman and Joan (Al – deceased) King, her close friend Margaret (Kenny) Eng and also, through marriage, an extended Hungarian family. She was preceded in death by her mother Jeanne L. King (2015), husband Steve (2012), and one sister Jeanne M. King (2011). Mary was born in Chicago and worked at various occupations throughout her life. It was at her job with Fermilab that she met the love of her life, Steve Barath. They enjoyed a very full life together that included family, friends, parties, travel, pets and a lakeside cottage in the northern woods of Wisconsin. To celebrate her life, her family will receive friends at the Ballydoyle Restaurant, 28 W. New York St., Aurora, from 2:00 pm until time of service, 4:00 pm, on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
