Mary A. Jones (nee O'Connell), age 84, of Manhattan, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, IL. She is survived by her loving children, Earl (Dorothy) Jones, Denise (Mitch) Bentz, Dennis (Natalie) Jones, Laura (Lason) Magallones, Lewis (Carrie) Jones, and Patrick (Kathleen) Jones, her grandchildren, Rose, John, Matt, Tony, Jessie, Vicky, Mike, Kim, Breanna, Brandon, Zachary, Gaylynn, Doug, Riley, Charlie, Nick, Tyler, Billy, and Danny, her great grandchildren, Jacki, Robert, Beka, Joey, Joy, and Kenzie. Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lauretta (nee Bracken) O'Connell, her husband, Lewis "Buzz" Jones, her daughter, Elizabeth Jones, her granddaughter, Kristin Bentz, and her daughter-in-law, Patricia Jones. Mary was an active member at St. Joseph Church in Manhattan taking part in CCW. She was also a member and past president of the Manhattan Woman's Club. Mary enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Funeral service for Mary will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from the funeral home in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 W. North St., Manhattan, for 10:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 2-8:00 P.M. also at the funeral home.
