Mary J. Malone, age 89, of Manhattan passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Salem Village Nursing Home with loving family at her side. Mary is survived by her children Lynette Bromann, Carl (Dana) Malone Jr. and Joseph (Donna) Malone, grandchildren Tina (Scot) Prihar, Kelly (Brent) LaRue, Daniel (Ashley) Malone, David Malone, Michael (Cindy) Malone, Steven (Melissa) Malone, great grandchildren Kailey Wager, Ryland Prihar, Kaitlyn Shepard, Nolan, Sophia and Logan LaRue, Cheyan and Michael Malone, Levi, Maebry, Sadie, and Lincoln Malone. Preceded in death by her parents August and Mary (nee Norbut) Kobeck, her husband Carl Malone (2020) and her sisters Vivian Buick and Emily in infancy. Mary worked for Sears in retail for 20 years. She enjoyed going out to dinner and gambling at the boats but most of all, Mary liked the comforts of home. Visitation for Mary will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 9-11:00 A.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place the same morning at 11:00 A.M. also at the funeral home.
