Mary Juanita Schwieger passed away peacefully on September 3, 2023 with family by her side at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Joliet, Illinois. Born on October 18, 1924, Mary was just shy of her 99th birthday. Mary had a full life and was blessed with seven children, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Mary enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and needlework.

Mary is preceded in death by many family members including her husband Herb Schwieger, two of her children Lum Jones Jr. and Robert Frost, and a daughter-in-law, Lennel Jones and a son-in-law, Dennis Delaney.

Mary is survived by her children Phyllis Lindberg, LaWanda Boruschewitz, Mike Saltzman, Carla Delaney and Jim (Debbie) Frost. Her grandchildren Glenn Lindberg, Scott Lindberg, Gregg (Sandy) Lindberg, Sheree (Bob) Blatti, Ginette Lindberg, Mike (Pam) Jones, Rob Jones, Jennifer Delaney-Tackett, Heather Delaney, Ryan (Shelley) Delaney, Sean (Danielle) Delaney, Bridget (Damien) Zeller, Jamie (Trish) Frost, and April (Ken) Kamba. She is also survived by her great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary wanted her body donated to science. Per her request no services will be conducted.
