Maureen M. Moreno (nee Schofield), age 72, of Manhattan Township, lost her hard-fought battle to lymphoma cancer on Monday, February 8, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul Moreno, children: Daughter Jacqueline Moreno, granddaughter Alexis, great-grandchildren Victoria and Raiden, Daughter Jamie (William) Markunas, grandchildren Grace and Ava, Daughter Rochelle (Daniel) Vance, grandchildren Anthony, Adam and Savanah, Son Ronald Kieskowski, grandchildren Justin, Brianna and Kyleigh, Sisters Georgeen (Charlie) Manis, Mary Genens, Charlene (Jim) Eyrse, Roberta Rodriguez and Kathy Westcott. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Mary Schofield and her brother Thomas Schofield. Maureen was employed by Silver Cross Hospital from April 23, 1980 until her retirement in December 2016. While at Silver Cross, Maureen worked in environmental services and spent the last 18 years of her career in the surgery department. She enjoyed baking cakes for coworkers' birthdays. Maureen had many hobbies including crocheting, coloring and going to garage sales. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Maureen requested no services be held on her behalf.
