Michael L. Hickey, age 69, of Godley, formerly of Chicago, passed away at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee. Survived by his son Tom (Mary) Henney, his grandchildren Brian Henney and Joseph Henney, his great grandson Jaxon, his sisters Margaret (John-deceased) Basden and Donna Grace Wardlow, his brother Patrick (Anna) Hickey and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Helen (nee Portway) Hickey and his wife of 43 years Patricia Hickey (2019). Michael was a simple man. He loved his family and especially enjoyed his grandsons and great grandson. Visitation for Michael will be on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will be the same day at 12:00 noon also at the funeral home. All CDC rules will apply. Michael will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at Manhattan Center Cemetery, Manhattan.
