Pamela R. Kimmell, age 74, of Lockport, passed away peacefully at Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet with her loving family at her side. Survived by her daughters Ellen (Ryan) Decker and Erin (Brian) Adams, her grandchildren Rylan, Elly, Myles, Evelyn, and Blake, her nephews Rob Kimmell, Chad Kimmell, Todd Robson and Jason Robson and her sister-in-law Sharron Kimmell. Preceded in death by her parents Harold and Marie Kimmell, her brother Wayne Kimmell and her sister Kim Robson. Pamela was a graduate of Wheaton High School and Western Illinois University where she majored in French and minored in education. Pam had many hobbies. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, DIY projects around her home, going to the beach, bike riding, canoeing, shopping and all things French to name a few, but what brought Pam most joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who lovingly referred to Pam as "Grammy". Pamela was a beautiful woman inside and out, a loving mom and grammy who will be dearly missed. The family will privately celebrate Pam's life in their own way.
