Patricia L. Schofield (nee Ervin), age 85, of Joliet passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Survived by three daughters Becky (Wayne) Buchanan, Jodi (Vyto Grigola) Cerasoli, and Crystal (Ed) Foote, three granddaughters Kelley Scott, Kimberly Cerasoli and Devyn Foote, two grandsons John (Erin) Scott and Donovan Foote and eight great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Lee and Mary (nee Johnson) Ervin, her husband Donald Schofield and one brother Clark Ervin. Patricia had many hobbies, among them were gardening, playing the piano, playing bridge, euchre and scrabble. She found joy in taking care of animals and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Patricia never met a stranger, she cared for her neighbors and community and had a special place in her heart for those less fortunate. Visitation for Patricia will be Monday, March 4, 2019 from 3-7:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will be the same evening at 7:00 P.M. with her grandson John Scott officiating. Interment with committal service will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee.
