Paxton Davis Ledvina, age 2, went to rest in the arms of Jesus on Monday, December 8, 2025. Paxton is survived by his parents Dylan and Ava (nee Tums) Ledvina, his brother, best friend and playmate Wes Ledvina, his maternal grandparents Edgar and Laura (nee Wozniak) Tums, his paternal grandparents Dean and Kathy (nee Backus) Ledvina, his great grandparents Nannie (Jim) Backus and Bernadette Wozniak, his aunts and uncles Emma Tums, Cassie (Tim) Kennedy, Melissa (Mark) Schneider, Dakota (Lauren) Ledvina, Alanna Ledvina, and Olivia Ledvina, and his cousins Emma, Avery, Addie, Arthur and Georgia. Preceded in death by his great grandfather David Wozniak. Paxton was a kid on the move. He started his day with a kiss and hug for mom and dad and didn't stop moving until naptime or bedtime. Paxton was baptized at St. Jude Catholic Church where he and his family are members. He had a passion for tractors, trucks, snow mobiles, lawnmowers, fire trucks, and he especially liked dirt bikes. Pax also enjoyed watching Blippie, sneaking snacks, eating pasta, and visiting his dad at work at the Manhattan fire station where he could climb on fire trucks and wear his helmet. Paxton was a funny, smart, kindhearted, and loving boy and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation for Paxton will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 4-8:00p.m. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan. Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, at 11:00a.m. An additional hour of visitation will take place from 10:00a.m. until the time of his funeral Mass also at St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox. Procession to St. Joseph Guardian Angel Cemetery, Manhattan will immediately follow. Arrangements entrusted to Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, 507 S.
