Peggy Joan Stover (nee Hendrick), age 49, of New Lenox, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at her home. She is survived by her mother, Mary Lee Hendrick, her husband of 26 years, Tony Stover, her children, Paige, Mallory and Shane Stover, four sisters, Sue Hendrick, Katie (Rob) Butkus, Mary (Doug Ekert) Hendrick, and Megan (Scott) Anton, four brothers, George Hendrick, Robb (Fiancé Pin Chaemlek), Bill Hendrick, and Mike (Kelly) Hendrick, two sisters-in-law, Joan Stover and Kathy (Bob-2003) Horkey, her parents-in-law, Barbara and Riley Stover, and her nieces and nephews, Makaylie, Beau, Danny, Maddie, Emily, and Breeana. Preceded in death by her father, George Hendrick (2012), her maternal grandparents, Katherine and Eugene Schlauder, and her paternal grandparents, Alta Mae and George V. Hendrick. Peggy was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. She was a successful interior designer, owning and operating Custom Coordinates for many years. She was an active person, staying physically fit was a favorite past time along with eating healthy. This sparked her desire to share her knowledge with others and inspired her to start an organization known as Health Watchers. Peggy also loved to vacation, especially in Arizona, but above all, she loved spending time with her family who will miss her dearly. Funeral Service for Peggy will be Friday, September 26, 2014, 9:15 a.m. from Forsythe Funeral Home in procession to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Manhattan.
