Raymond E. Creagan, age 94, of Manhattan formerly of Worth passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Survived by his children; Sandra (Charles) McCarthy, Karen Creagan, Kenneth Creagan, Susan (Roger-deceased) Grant, John Creagan and William (Rosalind) Creagan, 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and his niece Ronda MacKay. Preceded in death by his parents John and Winifred Creagan, his wife Elaine (nee Deacon) Creagan (2001) and his sister Mary Grace Creagan. Raymond was a proud veteran who served his country with the United States Navy during WWII. He then worked for a number of years in the printing industry. Raymond was an avid Chicago White Sox fan! He enjoyed all other sports professional and otherwise. In Ray's spare time he enjoyed gardening, playing golf and baking cherry and apple pies, but mostly Ray enjoyed his family, he especially loved his grandchildren. Ray had a long-blessed life, he maintained his independence until age 94 in Worth. Visitation for Raymond will be on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 9-10:00 A.M. Funeral service will take place the same day at 10:00 A.M. also at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at 11:30 A.M.
