Robert "Barber Bob" a.k.a "Uncle Bob" Hayes, age 65, of Minooka formerly of Manhattan passed away unexpectedly in the early morning of Saturday, January 2, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife Jyne (nee Yuratick), his children Dana (Jeff) Blatti, Cindy (Nick) Adams, and Allison, Abigail, Maggie, Gina, Alex and Samantha, his grandchildren Cora and Logan Miller, Jace Mack and Vittoria Adams, his sister Doris (Ken) Lain, his brother William (JoAnne) Hayes, Jr and his dear friend John Hayes. Preceded in death by his birth parents William Sr. and Marjorie Hayes, his adopted parents Bernard and Leona Hayes and his siblings Helen Wilson, Mary Hayes-DeWolf, Jane Duffy, Mike Hayes and Sharon Miller. Bob was the local barber in Manhattan for most of his life. He had many pastimes. Among them camping, racing, the Minnesota Vikings, concerts and snow mobiling. Bob was an avid bowler, he even bowled a 300 game and he especially loved Nasar, bus trips to Michigan Speedway, and just the sport itself. Bob was an honest and generous man who loved his community and above all, he loved his family, and he will be dearly missed. Visitation for Bob will be on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on the same at 1:00 P.M. also at the funeral home. All C.D.C rules will apply.
