Samantha "Sam" A. Neeley, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 10, 2023. She is survived by her dad, James Christensen; stepdad Mark Holt; siblings Tammy Misura, Jerry (Karri) Neeley, Jennifer (Fred) Yanez; nieces and nephews Michael and Christina Misura, Jeremy and Amber Neeley, Ashlee Fazekas, Freddy, Leah and Devin Yanez. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive as well as her best friend Jenny Kampwirth. Sam is preceded in death by her mother, Judith (nee Doyle) Christensen, grandmother Ruth Christensen, uncle Dave Christensen, feline companion Marbles and canine companion Danny. Sam graduated from A.A. Stagg High School Class of 1998. She worked as a Vet Tech for Worth Animal Hospital and Animal Welfare League for over 20 years. She was an active aunt and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Sam would go above and beyond to help anyone's animal, no matter how far. She also loved softball. She had a heart of gold, was the life of the party and was known to light up the room when she walked in. Services to be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
