Sharon A. Ahlson (nee Widener), age 74, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, with her family at her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Arthur "Ron", daughters Tammy (Michael) Stadler, Kimberly Robinson, grandchildren, Anthony and Marcus Stadler, Catherine (Rob) Baker, Ethan, Jacob and Jolie Robinson, great-grandchildren, Michael Stadler, Sophia, Morrigan and James Baker, brothers, Jody, (Karen) Widener and Michael (Debra) Widener. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, James and Irene Widener, brothers Ronnie Widener, James "Jimmy" Widener, infant brother Cecil Widener, sisters, Janice Perry and Julie Faye. Sharon grew up in Erwin Tennessee She was a member of the Oldsmobile Club and various other car clubs throughout the area with her husband Ron. Sharon took pleasure tending to her garden and flowers. She also enjoyed crafting and taking various camping trips with her family. Sharon loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Sharon will take place on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home in Manhattan. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 5:30 P.M. also at the funeral home. Interment will take place on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sharon's name to Lightways Hospice, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Arcadia Care of Morris would be most appreciated.
