Sharon L. Brown (nee Gray), age 79, of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, with loving family at her side. She is survived by her children, Deborah Norris, Robert (Catherine) Brown, Christy (Anthony) Rizzuto, Michael (Kim) Brown, grandchildren, Beth Norris, Steven Norris, Michele Aspan, Brian Brown, Taylor Rizzuto, Nicholas Rizzuto, Kaylee Brown, Ryan Brown, Jackson Brown, nine great-grandchildren with one on the way, brothers, Dennis Gray, Dale (Jeanne) Gray and sister, Marcia Kruger. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Brown (d. 2005), daughter, Trisha Brown (d. 2022), mother, Vienna Gray (nee Maki) and brother, Ralph Gray. Sharon grew up in Chicago and attended Lindblom High School. She married Hiram soon after graduating and years later, went to work as a car transporter for Mannheim Auto Auction. In her free time, she loved taking trips to the casino and was a member of a bowling team with many of her friends for almost 20 years. In her later years, Sharon enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Funeral visitation for Sharon will take place on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home in Manhattan. Funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 7:00 P.M. also at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
