Shirley Ann (Cassidy) Beatty Shirley A Beatty (nee Cassidy), age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2015 surrounded by loving family at Salem Village Nursing Home. She was the only child to John and Helen (nee Betz) Cassidy. Resided in Joliet most of her life but was born and raised in Columbia Missouri. She was employed by the Joliet Herald News as a circulation manager for several years. She was a loving wife, mother, nana, and a loyal and dear friend to many. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence Beatty Jr, three sons Mark Conn, Richard Conn and James Beatty and a son-in-law Jeff Fritz. She is survived by her children Sue Fritz of Coal City, Roxanne (John Boharski) Carnes of Wilmington, Rhonda (James) Clark of Bothell, Wa. Angelique (Brian Cullen) Bergeson of Joliet, Mark Beatty of Johnstown, OH. Michael (Julie) Conn of Tempe Arizona, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
