Sue was born in Joliet and raised in Peotone and Manhattan Illinois. On the farm in Peotone she enjoyed horseback riding with friends and many pranks and shenanigans. Halloween was a favorite prankster night in Manhattan .The many hilarious stories are legendary. She volunteered at St. Joseph School as a coach and bible school teacher. She drove a school bus for Manhattan and tended bar at Galvez, Joe's, Waldo's and Fritz's for many fun filled years. She started a women's motorcycle group and a snowmobile group that volunteered to help snow bound neighbors with whatever they might need. She was a fierce euchre player. She would say if you don't get set on a loner every once in awhile you aren't playing euchre. She loved to play a euchre game any time she could.
She worked to change the high school boundaries so children went to the same high school as their grade school friends. She was the Jackson Township tax assessor for many years. She had a wide variety of interests. She was a wonderful cook and baker. She was always a good time. Family and friends enjoyed many pool parties and bonfires. She loved to travel and bring home souvenirs from her destinations for everyone. She planned many fun travel adventures for her many friends and her blue camper saw much use. She had a nick name of her choosing for all of her friends and relatives. She was one of a kind and will be missed by many. Heaven just became a lot more fun because she had a way of making everyone laugh.
