Suzanne E. Bogusz, age 51, late of Manhattan, passed away Monday March 8, 2021 at the Lakewood Nursing and Rehab Center in Plainfield. She is survived by her mother Sharon nee Eggert Bogusz, three brothers; William (Mary), Michael (Kelly) and Joseph (Lisa), her nephews; Christopher, Andrew, Michael, John, Shawn, Tyler, Blake, Michael, Kameron, Nicholas and Joseph Jr. (Suzanne's Godson) and her great-nephew, James, also survives.
Preceded in death by her father William S. Bogusz (2014), paternal grandparents Stanley and Veronica Bogusz and maternal grandparents Herbert and Catherine Eggert.
Suzanne was born in Blue Island and raised in Midlothian. She was a graduate of Bremen High School class of 1988. She loved all sports especially the Bears, White Sox and Bulls. She was a gold medalist in the 1993 Special Olympics.
Visitation for Suzanne will be on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 10:00–11:30 A.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan. Funeral service will take place the same day beginning with prayers at 11:30 A.M. in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 W. North St., Manhattan for 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
