Terry D. Wilmoth, age 58, of Manhattan formerly of New Lenox, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on Saturday, July 11, 2015. He is survived by his mother, Francine (nee Doleshek) Wilmoth, his wife of 35 years, Julie (nee McAlpin) Wilmoth, his children, Joseph, Katherine, and Meghan Wilmoth, his siblings, Sherry (Mike) Sanders, Larry (Nancy) Wilmoth, and Jody (Scott) Rote and numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful canine companions, Lovie and Belle. Preceded in death by his father, Clyde Wilmoth. Terry was raised in New Lenox, a graduate of Lincoln-Way High School, class of '75. He was a member of Local 1027 Chicago Carpenters Union, he worked for 24 years at Oakley Millwork in Frankfort and was also a projectionist at the Mar Theatre in Wilmington. Terry was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed coaching his children in local youth sports. His favorite past times were fishing, bowling and gardening. Terry will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and friend. Funeral service for Terry will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from Forsythe Funeral Home in procession to St. Joseph Church, 235 West North Street, Manhattan for 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be most appreciated.
