Timothy Hickey, age 62, of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sharon (nee Rogers) Hickey, two sons, Kyle (Jennifer) Stalter of Diamond, Kenny Hickey of Joliet, two daughters, Kristy deBoer of Joliet and Kelly (Dan) Ketelaar of Manhattan, and nine grandchildren, and two brothers, Robert (Millie) of Morris, and James of Joliet. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Georgeanne Hickey, and one sister-in-law, Barb Hickey. Timothy grew up in the Beverly area and attended Leo High School for two years and graduated from Tinley Park High School, Class of '72. He was a building engineer at Argonne National Laboratory for over 25 years. Timothy loved the outdoors, fishing, golfing, mowing grass and working around the house. He also coached football for the Tinley Park Bulldogs and New Lenox Mustangs. Memorials in Timothy's name to St. Joseph Church, Manhattan, directed to the Adoration Chapel or to St. Jude Children Hospital would be most appreciated. Funeral Service for Timothy will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016, 9:30 A.M. from Forsythe Gould Funeral Home in procession to St. Joseph Church, 235 West North St., Manhattan, for 10:00 A.M.
