Tracey L. Mojzis, age 40, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. She is survived by her loving parents, George and Sandy (nee Duffy) Mojzis, her siblings; Shaun (Nicki) Mojzis of TN, Chris (Niki Lopez) Mojzis of Manhattan and Kerri (Paul Oppenhuis) Oliver of Manhattan, her maternal grandmother, Patricia Duffy of Crest Hill, her nieces and nephews; Christian, Devyn, Logan, Rayne, Serenity, Addison, Wyatt and Amelia, her aunts and uncles; Lydia (Jim) O'Grady, Patty (Pete) Morse, Linda (John) Jenson, David (Marge) Duffy, Kim (Vic) Combs and Dan (Laura) Duffy. Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Luella Mojzis, her maternal grandfather, Joseph Duffy, her uncle, Tom Mojzis and her cousin, Joe Lesniak. Tracey attended Lincoln-Way Central High School and graduated in 1997. She was a member of LWSRA for several years and she participated in Special Olympics for many years in multiple events and won several Gold Metals among others. Tracey was the most loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. She lit up a room with her smile, charisma and personality and she will be greatly missed. Funeral service for Tracey will be on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. from Forsythe Gould Funeral Home in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 West North Street, Manhattan for 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2-7:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
