Valerie Ann Vega, age 54, of Manhattan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox with her loving family at her side. She is survived by her mother Pamela (nee Fortina) Javenkoski, her father Leonard Vega, her brother Joe (Shannon) Vega, her nieces Corinn Vega, Julia Vega, Addison Christ, Alivia Christ, her nephews Joe Vega and Andrew Christ. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Dorothy and John Fortina, her paternal grandparents Joe and Anna Vega and her step-father Burt Javenkoski. Valerie attended Elim in Palos Heights and graduated Coronado high school in Arizona. She loved Nascar and playing games on her iPad. Valerie will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and aunt, her nightly "goodnight" messages with her expressive emoji's will be greatly missed by the entire family.
