Vincent DiMiele, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, with his loving family at his side. He is survived by his dear wife of 61 years, Eileen, sons, Rosario J. DiMiele and John V. (Linda) DiMiele, grandchildren, Zachary and Allie DiMiele and great -grandson, Finn. Vincent is preceded in death by his parents Giovanni and Carminella and brothers, Salvadore (Gaetana), Rosario and sister Rose. Vincent was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1959. Eventually, he and his wife started their own business called DiMiele's Landscape & Garden Center at 80th Avenue and 159th Street in Tinley Park. Vincent and Eileen moved to Elwood in 2005 and were members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manhattan. Visitation for Vincent will take place on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place the same day beginning with prayers at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home followed by procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 W. North St., Manhattan, for 11:30 A.M.
