Warren W. Wonders, age 73, of Manhattan, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Monday, April 9, 2018. He is survived by his loving mother, Yrma Wonders, his brother Dale (Tina) Wonders, his sister-in-law Barb Wuchte, his niece Stephanie Wonders, his nephew Brian Wonders and his cousins Dirk Taylor and Ray Montgomery. Preceded in death by his father Alvin Wonders, his sister Karren Wonders and his step mother Shirley Wonders. Warren served in the US Army from 1967-1969 during Vietnam War. He also served as a training clerk for the 325th battalion headquarters, Rank E-4. Warren was a member of the Manhattan United Methodist Church. He also worked at Easter Seals, UCP, Will County Health Department, and was a group counselor at the Cognitive Counseling Center. Warren will be buried at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
