Willard "Will" T. James, Jr., age 79, of Manhattan passed away unexpectedly at Villa Franciscan Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center on Father's Day, Sunday, June 17, 2018. He is survived by the love of his life, JoAnn (nee Restivo) James, his children; Robert (Kim) James and Andrea McDonald, his grandchildren; Brooke (Scott) Gardner, Tony James, Nick James, Michael McDonald and Jenna McDonald, his great grandchildren; Taylor and Rylee Gardner, one sister Marilyn Nowak and his nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Willard T. James, Sr. and Laverne (nee Graffy) James. Will had a strong work ethic and owned his own trucking company W. James Trucking for many years. He was a dedicated father and grandfather, attending every event from dance recitals to baseball games for his grandkids and his presence will be dearly missed. Visitation for Willard T. James, Jr. will be Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 2-6:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Monday, June 25, 2018 with prayers at 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home then going in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 West North Street, Manhattan for 10:00 A.M.
