Obituary

William "Bill" S. Bogusz, age 77, of Manhattan, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sharon (nee Eggert) Bogusz, his children, William "Bill" (Mary) Bogusz, Michael (Kelly) Bogusz, Joe (Lisa) Bogusz and Sue Bogusz, his grandsons, Sean, Tyler, and Blake Bogusz, Michael, Kameron and Nicholas Norton, Christopher, Andy and Michael Jones, John Bogusz, and Joseph Bogusz Jr., and his great grandson, James Jones King. Preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Albina (nee Ciasto) Bogusz. Bill is a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served as a Radioman, he later became a Fire Suppression Technician. He had a wonderful voice and was a long time member of the St. Christopher Catholic Church in Midlothian, where he sang on the Bell Choir and was a Eucharistic Minister. Among his many interests, Bill enjoyed astronomy and Louis L'Amour Novels, he also was a Boy Scout Leader and loved going on fishing trips to Canada with his boys. Funeral service for William will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 30, 2014 from Forsythe Funeral Home in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 W. North St., Manhattan, for 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 – 7:00 p.m. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Forsythe Funeral Home 507 S.
