William R. Krefting, age 74, of Joliet passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Loyola University Chicago. Survived by his children Mellisa (Paul Brodell) Grivetti and William (Charlene) Krefting, grandchildren Luke Krefting and Katie Krefting, brother Ralph (Paula) Krefting, sister Bette Davis and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Catherine (nee Valkan) Krefting, his brothers Richard Krefting and Jack Krefting and his brother-in-law Larry Davis. Bill enjoyed watching tv, the Boston Red Sox and was known to be the life of the party but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Visitation for Bill will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 11am-12pm.
