February 14, 1946 – March 26, 2026
William "Bill" M. Kujawa, age 80, of Manhattan formerly of Burbank, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at his home with his loving family at his side. Survived by his wife of 58 years Teresa "Terri" (nee Pastiak), his son Jonas (Jill) Kujawa, his grandchildren Hunter, Ethan, Kaylee and Cody, the last known relative of his side of the family, nephew Mark Rosa,
and numerous other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Matthew and Sophia (nee Rutta) Kujawa, his sister Darlynn "Sissa".
Attended Gage Park High School and finished his high school career while serving his country with the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. During his time in the service, he continued his education into college level. After serving his country, he entered into the police force in Burbank where he served his community for over 30 years retiring as Chief. Bill enjoyed fishing, gambling and will be remembered for his unique sarcasm.
A loving husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, and friend and he will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation for Bill will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan. Per Bill's wishes, cremation will be respectfully addressed and he will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
