William P. Mison, age 68, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Joliet Area Community Hospice home after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his first wife, Cheryl Mison, two loving sons, Matthew of Elwood, and Michael (Denise) of Diamond, two granddaughters, Lillian and Sarah Mison, and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Mison, and one brother, Bob (Delores) Mison. William was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and he was a Machinist at University of Illinois, Chicago. William was a youth baseball coach where he coached his own boys along with many others, he enjoyed fishing at Lake Will in Wilmington and Lake Erie to name a few and he was a devoted Bears fan. William led a simple life, he loved his family and always considered himself a "Lucky Man". Visitation for William will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 3-8:00 p.m. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home.
