This cremation package is most like a traditional funeral. The remains of your loved one will be viewed in our rental casket (Cherry Wood). Visitation, funeral and committal will all take place in one day. The deceased will be cremated after formal committal service at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at our crematory and the funeral director will bring the cremated remains of your loved one in an engraved urn suitable for niche placement or in ground burial back to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery within one week after the day of the formal committal for placement in the cemetery. Family has the option to come back to the cemetery and witness placement of urn.
The package includes the following services and merchandise:
-Arrangement conference in your home or at our facility
-Removal and transfer of remains to our facility
-Embalming, dressing, casketing, and cosmetizing
-Secure permit for burial, schedule committal and burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery
-Retrieve Veteran's flag with DD214 or suitable discharge documents provided by family.
-Use of our facilities for a visitation 1-3 hours followed by a funeral service at our funeral home or travel in procession to
St. Joseph Catholic Church, Manhattan, for Mass of Christian Burial (option for Catholics) followed by a procession to
Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood for a formal committal service with full military honors.

-Obituary with photo posted on our website for one year
-Casket (your choice, choices provided by clicking on the Casket Selections link below)
-Formal Veteran's flag case for display of your Veteran's flag in your home
-Our Veterans Printing Package (branch specific) or our Signature Printing Package for the spouse, both include: Register book, memorial folders or up to 150 laminated prayer cards, a video tribute with up to 50 pictures, 50 acknowledgements / thank you cards, and our Signature Memorial Candle.
Cash advance items that are not included in our package but should be reviewed by the family are:
-Certified copies of the death certificate
-An honorarium for any clergy/church fees that family may request
-Newspaper notices in newspapers requested
-Flowers (note: most veterans will drape the casket with the American flag)
