Veterans Traditional Service Package Red: $6805

This is a traditional burial package in that there will be a visitation, funeral, committal at the cemetery, and burial.
The exception is that all these events take place in one day instead of two. 

Here is a snapshot of the day; this is for illustration purposes only, times and possibly place of funeral service may change. 

Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. and go until 12:00 P.M. with the family arriving up to an hour early (around 9:00 A.M.) for their designated family time. Funeral service will begin promptly at 12:00 Noon or whatever time family decides to have the service. Upon ending of funeral service, attendees are dismissed allowing family to say their final goodbyes in private, casket is placed into rear of hearse and we leave in procession to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, (About a 12-minute procession) for
a formal committal service with full military honors. 

 

The package includes the following services and merchandise:

-Arrangement conference in your home or at our facility

-Removal and transfer of remains to our facility

-Embalming, dressing, casketing, and cosmetizing

-Secure permit for burial, schedule committal and burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery

-Retrieve Veteran's flag with DD214 or suitable discharge documents provided by family.

-Use of our facilities for a visitation 1-3 hours followed by a funeral service at our funeral home or travel in procession to
St. Joseph Catholic Church, Manhattan, for Mass of Christian Burial (option for Catholics) followed by a procession to
Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood for a formal committal service with full military honors. 

-Hearse and lead car

-Obituary with photo posted on our website for one year

-Casket (your choice, choices provided by clicking on the Casket Selections link below)

-Formal Veteran's flag case for display of your Veteran's flag in your home

-Our Veterans Printing Package (branch specific) or our Signature Printing Package for the spouse, both include: Register book, memorial folders or up to 150 laminated prayer cards, a video tribute with up to 50 pictures, 50 acknowledgements / thank you cards, and
our Signature Memorial Candle.

 

Cash advance items that are not included in our package but should be reviewed by the family are: 

-Certified copies of the death certificate

-An honorarium for any clergy/church fees that family may request

-Newspaper notices in newspapers requested

-Flowers (note: most veterans will drape the casket with the American flag)
