Veterans Cremation Service Package Blue: $5350

 

With this cremation package, cremation will happen before any services. The cremated remains will be present and in an urn for the visitation, funeral and procession to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery where a formal committal service with full military honors will take place, all in one day.

 

The package includes the following services and merchandise:

-Arrangement conference in your home or at our facility

-Removal and transfer of remains to our facility

-Secure permits for cremation and ground burial or niche placement

-Cremation

-Retrieve veteran's flag with DD214 or suitable discharge documents provided by family

-Schedule committal and ground burial or niche placement at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery

-Use of our facilities for a visitation 1-3 hours followed by a funeral service at our funeral home or travel in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Manhattan, for a Mass of Christian Burial (option for Catholics) followed by a procession to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood for a formal committal service with full military honors. 

-Urn Caisson: An Urn Caisson provides a dignified way to transport the cremated remains of the veteran or spouse of the veteran to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Four pall bearers required. A picture of our Urn Caisson can be found by clicking on the Urn Caisson link blow.

-Hearse and lead car

-Obituary with photo posted on our website for one year

-Engraved / branch specific Veteran Urn or our Signature Urn for the spouse

-Our Veterans Printing Package (branch specific) or our Signature Printing Package for the spouse, both include register book, up to 150 memorial folders or up to 150 laminated prayer cards, a video tribute with up to 50 pictures, 50 acknowledgement / thank you cards, and our Signature Memorial Candle.

-Formal Veteran's flag case for display of your veteran's flag in your home

 

Cash advance items that are not included in our package but should be reviewed by the family are: 

 

-Certified copies of the death certificate

-An honorarium for clergy/church fees that family may request

-Newspaper notices in newspapers requested

-Flowers
